A 34-year-old Orlando man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison Tuesday for distributing drugs and possessing a firearm, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Nicholas Damion Paisley pleaded guilty to distributing and possessing with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, cocaine and marijuana, according to a news release from the Department of Justice. In addition, he pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm to carry out a drug trafficking crime.
In August 2016, officers arrested Paisley at a home in the Pine Hills neighborhood, which he was using to distribute drugs.
When police searched the home, they found four firearms, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. One of the weapons recovered was an AK-47-style assault rifle with a scope, collapsible stock and an extended magazine.
