Weather-related issues have caused several accidents Sunday morning, including on the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway near Exit 156 and on the northbound side of the New Jersey Turnpike near Interchange 17E, according to 511nj.org.

Motorists should reduce speed and use caution, especially when approaching bridges and overpasses due to freezing on the roads.

Two lanes were closed on I-280 as of 11:54 a.m. while trucks plowed and salted the road east of Exit 7 in West Orange.

And as of about noon, icy roads were reported on Route 21 in both directions between Exit 10 at Brook Ave and Exit 12 at Dayton Street in Passaic, according to 511nj.org.
