It’s been several months since Clinton lost the election, and I’ve heard just about every excuse why she lost, except for the real reason. It was because of the curse.
When the Boston Red Sox sold Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees, a curse was put on them that they would never win a World Series again. The same thing happened to the Chicago Cubs when they kicked a billy goat, who was a good luck charm, out of Wrigley Field.
So maybe Clinton lost because of the “Obama curse.” He went to Greece to campaign for the 2016 Olympics. He lost after the first round. Then he campaigned to save the Senate for the Democrats during the 2014 campaign. They lost. Next he went to campaign for Britain on behalf of the U.S. to stay in the European Union. They didn’t. Then he put all his effort campaigning for Clinton for the presidency. She lost.
It took many years before the Red Sox and Cubs ended their curse. The Democrats and their party are just starting their curse, and it will forever be known as the “Obama Legacy Curse.”
