It’s that time of year when everyone looks to a rodent to predict the weather: Groundhog Day. Before Punxsutawney Phil makes his annual appearance in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to reveal if we’ll have an early spring or longer winter, fans of the Feb. 2 date will likely want to celebrate by watching the 1993 comedy of the same name.
In “Groundhog Day,” Bill Murray stars as a jaded weatherman who is tasked with covering the East Coast event. After being stranded in the small town due to a snow storm, he awakes the following morning only to discover he’s forced to relive the same day over and over, making him reexamine his life choices.
Before the holiday rolls around, fans of Murray’s will be happy to know they can catch the movie on several platforms.
