The latest version of the Apple iPhone could include a feature that’ll make cable tangle a thing of the past.

Via MacRumors, all three versions of the new iPhone 8 (or iPhone X) could potentially feature wireless charging abilities. In a note the site obtained from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Kuo said the iPhone is expected to include internal redesigns because wireless charging increases the temperature of the phone. It was not clear if the new iPhones will use long-range or inductive charging.

“While we don’t expect general users to notice any difference, lamination of an additional graphite sheet is needed for better thermal control and, thus, steady operation,” Kuo said. “This is because FPCB is replaced with film, which is more sensitive to temperature change of the 3D touch sensor in OLED iPhone.

The latest analyst speculation fits into a slate of potential features for the new Apple iPhone 8, or what may be called the iPhone X. Apple is expected to release a 4.7-inch, 5-inch and 5.5 to 5.8-inch premium model of the iPhone 8. All three iPhones are expected to have an all-glass casing and the deluxe version of the phone is expected to include a wraparound display similar to Samsung’s high-end smartphones.

The smartphone’s home button is also expected be converted from a physical button to a touch-sensitive inlay within the display. With the deluxe iPhone 8’s suite of redesigns and upgrades from past iPhones, analysts have speculated that the model could potentially retail for up to $1,000. And while Apple has yet to confirm its upgrade plans, past iPhones have traditionally hit shelves around September in the fall.
