Amanda Bynes recently slammed rumors that claim she is pregnant and engaged.
On her Twitter account, the former child star clarified that she is not Twitter user @persianla27. Bynes added that whoever is using the account has been impersonating her and harassing her. The actress added that she’s repeatedly asked Twitter to take down the account, but they still haven’t done so. On Tuesday, the Twitter user who claims to be Bynes greeted her followers on Valentine’s Day. She added that she’s at the gynecologist’s clinic with Matt to see if she is pregnant. As of this writing, the account has already been blocked.
According to E! News, Bynes has not been active on social media for the past six months. She was last photographed publicly in December of last year in West Hollywood. At that time, she was hanging out with a friend. Prior to the sighting, Bynes’ attorney, Tamar Arminak, talked about his client on her 30th birthday and said that she’s doing great. “She is happy and healthy and excited about the future,” he told the publication.
Bynes went through difficult times in her life when she was arrested for illegally chucking a bong out of her apartment in 2013. Two months later, the actress was hospitalized after setting a fire in front of a neighbor’s yard. She has also posted a series of controversial tweets that made fans question if she’s mentally ill. At one point, Bynes was also on a 5150 psychiatric hold. She was forced to get mental treatment and recovered through the help of her family and friends.
After leaving the facility, Bynes admitted to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and manic depression. She shared that she’s been taking medications while in residential treatment for six months. In 2014, she was able to get her license back and is still doing well after almost three years.
