“We're really not getting any kind of economic growth through January. So it's very puzzling,” Matthew Knittel, director of Pennsylvania's Independent Fiscal Office, said recently. As long as Pennsylvania is not a right-to-work state, no new industry is coming here. All the right-to-work states are booming with new industries and, if not for the natural gas boom, where would we be?
The pols are afraid to lose the votes of the 800,000 union members in Pennsylvania, so they will bankrupt the state to keep their jobs and pensions before we become a right-to-work state.
