The annual Roots Picnic date is announced. This year, the 10th annual music festival will return on June 3 to Philadelphia with a power-packed lineup.

The musical extravaganza will have performances from artists like Solange, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, PnB Rock, Thundercat, Pete Rock and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

“This definitely speaks to the staying power of the Roots and the uniqueness of the Picnic as a good festival,” the Roots co-founder Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter told Philly.com. “Not many music festivals last, have a 10-year run or hold such validity and stay consistently good-and-getting better.”

This year, Roots Picnic will also feature rappers Fat Joe and Mobb Deep accompanied with keyboardist-turned-megaproducer Scott Storch.

“This is the official, original Roots reunion with Philly’s own Scott Storch,” Trotter said.

The musical festival has seen artists such as The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Migos, John Legend, Janelle Monae, Nas, Kid Cudi, Public Enemy, Gnarls Barkley, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Gary Clark Jr. and Rakim over the past decade.

Last year, Roots Picnic welcomed headliners Future and Usher and the audience also got a performance from Philadelphia native Will Smith and his daughter Willow.

The festival will take place at Festival Piers at Penn’s Landing.

Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets, Live Nation Box Office or by phone at 800-745-3000.
