Some Steelers/Patriots afterthoughts: The Steelers' Jan. 22 second-half plan to attack Tom Brady on third down with a three-man rush was a total disaster. It allowed smart man Tom, standing totally relaxed, to complete to nine different receivers, running (indefensibly) Giant Eagle grocery routes.
There was no plan B or C. Plan D did happen — a well deserved defeat.
Tom's final pass was a completed game ball to Mike Tomlin as a thank-you gift.
