The big dogs in the Toyota lineup get refreshed with modern grooming on the full-size Tundra pickup and full-size Sequoia SUV.

Standard equipment on both will include collision avoidance, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise and automatic high beams on the headlights, collectively known as Toyota Safety Sense.

Both models also get an updated gauge cluster display to track the safety systems and toggle through other vehicle information.

The platform mates, which have gotten refreshed over the years but haven’t had full redesigns in over a decade, will be offered in TRD Sport trim, an aesthetic package not to be confused with the lineup of TRD Pro trucks made for off-road sport.

TRD Sport trims comes with Bilstein shocks and front and rear anti-sway bars that help reduce body roll and keep the trucks more planted. Both come in 4×4 or 4×2, though most buyers will take the former, with a 5.7-liter V-8 engine.
