They’re back! On Black Friday 2016, Kanye West and Adidas released the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in the “core black/core red” colorway. The shoes sold out quickly online and in stores, as they always do, leaving many unable to snag a pair.
Sneaker heads holding out for the second coming of these highly coveted shoes have no need to hold their breath another minute. On Tuesday, Adidas announced that the “core black/core red” colorway would be hitting store shelves and online retailers inventory once again on Feb. 11. This marks the first Yeezy Boost release in 2017, though three other colorways — “core black/core white,” “core black/copper metallic,” and “core black/green” — were sold in 2016.
Unlike the previous “core black/core red” release, the red stripe has been removed from the latest batch of Yeezy Boost 350 V2s. The sneaker still features “SPLY-350” sprawled across each side, though it is written in red this time. The rear heel loop has been added, yet again, to this iteration of the popular sneaker. According to Hypebeast, stock for this release will be limited, meaning anyone hoping to get their hands on these better be prepared to brave serious crowds and potentially site-crashing online traffic.
The “core black/core red” Yeezy Boost 350 V2s will be available in a number of sizes, including some for infants. Those hoping to cop the latest release from Adidas and the “Famous” rapper can try their luck with the Adidas Confirmed app, various online vendors or by making an in-store purchase.
