InfoJobs exceeds 18,600 jobs offered, 7% more than in 2021

InfoJobs has registered a total of 18,642 vacancies for the ‘Black Friday’ and Christmas campaign, which represents an increase of 7% compared to 2021, with purchasing, logistics and warehouse accounting for almost 40% of the jobs offered.
“The current vacancy figures indicate that, indeed, hiring has been brought forward in the current campaign compared to the two previous years, however in recent weeks the job offer has been decreasing. Just a month ago, the total of registered vacancies was 18% more than in 2021, but, finally, this percentage has been reduced to 7%”, stressed the director of Communication and Studies at InfoJobs, Mónica Pérez.
Among all the categories, purchases, logistics and warehouse stand out for another year, which includes almost 7,300 jobs offered (more than 39% of the total).
Next comes customer service, with more than 3,700 vacancies, and retail sales (more than 2,600). In this sense, the last two exceed the data from the previous campaign by 32% and 10%, respectively, however, purchasing, logistics and warehouses fell by 7% (in 2021 it registered more than 7,800 jobs offered).
Within this category, the part of distribution and logistics remains at the start of the pre-campaign data and grows 25% (more than 1,400 vacancies). Conversely, warehouse decreased by 15% (more than 5,800 jobs offered).
Of the total vacancies registered by InfoJobs in relation to the ‘Black Friday’ and Christmas campaign, Madrid, Barcelona and Toledo currently have more than 68% of them (12,738 vacancies).
These three provinces would be followed by Guadalajara, with more than 820 vacancies. Precisely, in Toledo and Guadalajara are some of the most important distribution centers nationwide.
Regarding the professionals who are demanding the most in the face of the campaign, stand out warehouse worker, promoter and shop assistant, who sneaks into the ‘top 3’. Behind them are the salesperson, handler, order picker, parcel delivery person and cleaning worker.
