Comments: Anglovich defeated Moisey in OT in a D-11 3A quarterfinal in a thrilling match, and Moisey hasn’t wrestled since (and, frankly, probably shouldn’t have against Liberty) so the Konkrete Kid moves to injury time, Anglovich, who will play football at East Stroudsburg and is one of the most entertaining wrestlers to watch in the area (his motor has one gear: high), moves in at No. 4. No. 5 is more of an issue. Appleby’s record gives him a claim but Ostir owns an 11-6 win over the County Seater at the H/W/S tournament. Simmons is a thought, but strength of schedule is an issue; ditto Skibinski, who lost 9-5 up at 182 to Easton’s Ethan DiRenzo. Kehs doesn’t have a bad loss. We like Snyder a whole lot, especially for a freshman, but Kapur owns a head-to-head win. Ostir gets the no despite being pinned by Governor Livingston’s 28-2 Quinn Haddad in Monday’s North 2 Group 3 sectional quarterfinal. Obviously a lot of movement possible here – behind the top 2, that is; remarkable to have two unbeaten wrestlers in one class. Fernandes stands on 98 wins heading into Wednesday’s Central Group 2 semifinal at Raritan.
