HOUSTON — Winning Super Bowl LI was sweet. Watching your toddler son celebrate by playing with the confetti on the field at RNG Stadium? Sweet, and pretty darn cute.

That’s how former Rutgers player Duron Harmon, who motivated his teammates with a halftime rallying cry, enjoyed the aftermath of the wild 34-28 Patriots victory.

His former Rutgers teammates, Devin McCourty and Logan Ryan, were also part of the mayhem on the field after the first overtime in Super Bowl history was complete, hugging their head coach Bill Belichick and other teammates.

Ryan was entangled in a nasty one-on-one battled with another former Rutgers player — his old college roommate Mohamed Sanu — that ended with the Atlanta Falcons receiver losing his helmet.
