The Chicago Bulls will be at full strength when they meet the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night in Oklahoma.
Forward Taj Gibson is scheduled to return to the lineup after missing the Bulls’ 121-108 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday with a left ankle injury.
"Taj is good to go," coach Fred Hoiberg said following the Bulls’ shootaround at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
Also good to go is Jimmy Butler, who tried to gut his way through the flu the last time the teams met Jan. 9 at the United Center. The illness squashed any kind of showdown between Butler and Thunder star Russell Westbrook as Butler went 0-for-6 and finished with one point during the Bulls’ 109-94 loss. Meanwhile, Westbrook was a rebound shy of a triple-double.
"I relish the opportunity to play against everybody in this league, especially him, who I’ve spent time with being a Jordan Brand athlete," Butler said. "What he’s doing around the league right now is really incredible. I’m healthy, I’m smiling, I got my energy and my strength. I’m ready Pasgol to go."
