Oregon State did not play Monday night. But the No. 9 Beavers moved into sole possession of first place in the Pac-12, thanks to No. 15 UCLA’s upset win at No. 8 Stanford.

OSU (22-2, 11-1 Pac-12) is aiming for a least a share of its third consecutive regular-season conference title with three weeks to go. Stanford and No. 10 Washington are both a game back at 10-2 in league play, while UCLA is 9-3.

The Beavers also moved up to No. 7 in the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee’s latest rankings unveiled Monday evening. However, those were somewhat obsolete by the end of the night, as No. 2 Baylor and No. 13 Louisville also lost Monday.
