WILTON — A 19-year-old man accused of raping a 16-year-old girl was arrested Monday, State Police said.
Troopers arrested Wilton resident Ryan Freebern after a days-long investigation, and charged him with first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse, both felonies.
State Police said Freebern knew his alleged victim.
Freebern was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and taken to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear at 4 p.m. March 7.
