Former Moonbug managing director Andy Yeatman has been named as the CEO of Miraculous Corp USA, a newly formed joint venture between Mediawan and ZAG, the studio behind “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.”

Miraculous Corp was recently established to bring together all aspects of the Miraculous franchise, with Mediawan owning 60% and ZAG owning 40%. ZAG’s founder and Miraculous co-creator Jeremy Zag will remain a major shareholder and board member, focusing on developing new storylines and characters for the franchise.

Andy Yeatman, who is based in Los Angeles, will collaborate closely with Jeremy Zag to manage business operations in the U.S. and internationally. Their goal is to expand the Miraculous brand by introducing new characters and stories. The company plans to produce TV movies, spin-off series, and a sequel to the 2023 film “Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie,” directed by Zag.

Yeatman expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating that he has been a fan of Miraculous Ladybug since 2015. He sees great potential in expanding the universe created by Jeremy, Thomas, and Nathanael, offering fans around the world new heroes, villains, and engaging experiences.

With a background in kids and family entertainment, Yeatman’s experience includes his role at Moonbug, where he contributed to the success of “CoComelon” on Netflix. Prior to that, he was part of Netflix’s Kids’ Content department, which received numerous accolades, including 30 Daytime Emmys. Yeatman has also worked at notable companies such as Walt Disney Studios, Ascent Media Group, Verizon, and CIBC World Markets.
