3 different quality modes for high-performance gameplay on PS5
The game was supposed to be one of the “showcases” that could show the full potential of the Playstation 5. On the visual side, the critics are unanimous : the game offers rich and varied environments, of a breathtaking visual quality. For some, it offers almost the quality of a Pixar animated movie. As for the performance on the Sony console, all three game modes do their job well. Owners of a 4K TV will be able to enjoy graphics pushed to the maximum thanks to the Quality mode, with Ray-tracing in particular, all at 30 stable fps. Those who prefer a smoother gameplay will be able to use the Performance mode which offers 4K gameplay at 60 fps, favoring fluidity in graphics rendering (Ray-tracing disabled in particular). According to many critics, it is the Performance RT mode that wins the palm of the competition, offering a gameplay at 60fps and the best graphics rendering (with Ray-tracing), while sacrificing at times the resolution (from 4K to 1440p or 1080p).
