Goodbye Valentine’s cards, hello Snapchats. With the holiday known for hearts, chocolate, and flowers less than 24 hours away, the app introduced improvements to the usual effects it offers for you to share with all of your Valentines this year.
The Snapchat filter updates enhance the bunny, dog, and deer effects making them clad in pink with adorable heart shaped noses. There’s also an effect that will add some heart-shaped shades to your face and one that adds a pink bow to your hair and a heart shaped bubble when you open your mouth.
The effects updated a few days ahead of the holiday so users are already taking full advantage of them. Many users took to Twitter to express their excitement over the new additions.
Olympian Simone Biles put the filters to good use and posted it to her Snapstory.

There’s also a sponsored filter from Starbucks (at least in New York City) with the phrase “share the love” on it.
Instagram and Facebook haven’t added any Valentine’s related features yet, but Google’s homepage features a love story about pangolins (scaly mammals) and has a game for users in which they must unite two pangolins looking for love.
Whether you have a Valentine or not the Snapchat effects are a fun way to get in the spirit of the holiday.
