The incorporation of companies increased by 16.2% in June, up to 10,275 new companies, according to data published this Thursday by the General Council of Notaries.

A total of 7,491 companies were created with a foundation share capital of between 3,000 and 4,000 euros, which represents an increase of 13.1% compared to June 2022. Within these, the average capital of constitution was 3,022 euros.

By autonomous communities, the creation of new companies increased in eleven of them, highlighting the increases in Aragon (42.8%), Galicia (35.9%) and Catalonia (32.5%).

In contrast, the creation of new companies fell in May in six regions, especially in Asturias (-16.8%), Cantabria (-15.4%) and the Basque Country (-10%).
