The Ibex 35 accelerated its upward path towards the mid-session and again exceeded the level of 9,400 points, which it had lost in recent sessions, on a day in which the PMI composite index was known, which reflects that private activity in Spain it grew in February at its highest rate in a year.
Specifically, at 12:00 noon, the selective index for the Spanish stock markets and markets rose 1.04%, reaching 9,423.9 points.
Almost the entire Ibex 35 was in ‘green’ towards the mid-session, led by Banco Sabadell (2.76%), ArcelorMittal (2.37%), Fluidra (2.15%), Banco Santander (2.10%) , IAG (1.87%) and Aena (1.57%).
Only three values observed decreases: Mapfre (-0.69%), Grifols (-0.65%) and Telefónica (-0.10%). Repsol was the only stock with flat growth compared to Thursday.
Regarding the rest of the European markets, the German DAX advanced 0.98%, while the French CAC 40 rose 0.73% and the Italian FTSE MIB reached an increase of 1.27%. In this way, the Euro Stoxx 50 observed a gain of 0.91%, compared to the increase of 0.19% of the British FTSE 100.
Brent barrels fell 0.17% to $84.61, while West Texas Intermediate fell 0.08% to $78.10.
The Spanish bond with a maturity of 10 years registered a yield in the secondary debt markets of 3.665%, compared to 3.719% on Thursday. Thus, the risk premium has fallen by 1.5 points, to 95.3 basis points.
In the foreign exchange market, the euro has appreciated by 0.14% against the dollar, so the community currency has been exchanged for 1.0612 dollars.
