The ‘old Pescanova’ registered losses of 6.8 million euros in the third quarter of this year, compared to the profit of 64,000 euros that was recorded in the same period of the previous year, as reported by the company to the National Commission of the Stock Market (CNMV).

Operating income was 210,000 euros, above the 200,000 euros of a year earlier, corresponding mainly to part of the annual support that the company must receive from Nueva Pescanova, by virtue of the spin-off agreements approved by the general meeting on 25 September 2015.

Likewise, the expenses of the third quarter of this year corresponded mainly to general expenses, external advisors, board remuneration (45,000 euros), provisions (4.65 million euros) and impairment of participations (1.68 million euros).

The company presented at the end of the third quarter of this year a negative equity of 4.95 million euros.

Throughout the third quarter, the firm has not made significant investments or divestments.
