From October 27, the Musée de la civilization will present the exhibition Le temps des pharaons, where we will discover how people lived in the time of ancient Egypt.
We will be able to see, during this international exhibition, mummies, jewels and stelae.
You will also be able to see detailed models of Egyptian pyramids, temples and houses, animations and videos that will bring ancient Egypt to life.
This new exhibition will succeed Pompeii Immortal City, which ends on September 11.
The pieces in this exhibition come from the Egyptology collections of the University of Aberdeen Museums, UK, and the German museum institutions Gustav-Lübcke and Roemer and Pelizaeus.
The Time of the Pharaohs was designed by the Austrian firm MuseumsPartner with whom the Musée de la civilization had collaborated for the Maya exhibition which had been a great success last summer.
