For the third time in three days, a seaplane fell into a waterway in Quebec on Tuesday evening.

A distress call was made around 9 p.m. by the pilot of the aircraft, which then fell into Lac Nominingue, in the Laurentians.
“A good Samaritan rescued the four using his boat and brought them to shore,” said Nicolas Scholtus, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
The pilot would have suffered serious injuries, but there is no fear for his life while the three other passengers had only minor injuries. They were all taken to hospital.
Earlier Tuesday, another seaplane fell into Lake Ouareau in Saint-Donat, in Lanaudière. The pilot, and only passenger, did not suffer serious injury. The latter would have refused to go to the hospital, said agent Scholtus.
Last Sunday, a 63-year-old man lost his life after a seaplane crashed into the Saint-Maurice River in Shawinigan.
In these three cases, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) was called to the scene to tow the aircraft, which all sank in the water.
Investigations have been opened for the crashes in Shawinigan and Saint-Donat. As for the Nominingue event, the TSB should meet the pilot to understand what happened, said the SQ.
