The dramatic weather event deeply shook the small community.

“People are affected, we are a small municipality. To see people lose their retirement plan, parts of their residence … They still have the images [in mind], they have post-traumatic shocks”, explained to TVA Nouvelles Marie-Josée Lavigne, lieutenant of the Service Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard fire.

Obviously, the employees who work in the field are also affected by the tragedy experienced by the victims.

Again on Monday, Chemin Beausoleil, the municipality’s main road, was reserved for local traffic, as was Route 329. Just over 600 Hydro-Québec customers were still without power during the day on Monday.
