A tractor-trailer rolled over Tuesday morning on Interstate 78 West near the merge with Route 22 in Lower Macungie Township, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The truck ended up off the highway between the Route 309 and Route 100 interchanges, PennDOT said. The right lane was closed.

Emergency personnel from Cetronia Ambulance were just arriving at 7 a.m. and it wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was hurt.

Lehigh County dispatch got the first call on the crash at 6:49 a.m.

Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville are investigating.
