A court in Bosnian capital of Sarajevo acquitted former commander of Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica, Noser Orić. The 50-year-old had to answer for murder of three prisoners of war during Bosnian War (1992-1995).

Former Serbian president Slobodan Milošević ‘s former personal protector is considered a war hero to many Bosnian Muslims. During Bosnian war, he organized defense of city of Srebrenica, in which Serbian units 1995 a massacre. 8,000 Bosnian Muslims were murdered. The massacre is considered worst war crime in Europe since end of World War II and was classified as genocide.
Orić had been sentenced to two years in prison by International War Crimes Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, 2006. However, he was acquitted in an appeals procedure.
