AKRON, Ohio – As more and more people are subscribing to cleveland.com’s Rubber City Daily newsletter, Akron’s news scene is getting busier.

Crain’s Akron Business has ramped up its coverage of Akron, now offering Akron news weekly in its Crain’s Cleveland Business magazine, which costs $29 for a yearly subscription.

“With a rich history and business culture, not to mention a promising future, Greater Akron deserves its own dedicated coverage,” Crain’s editor and publisher Elizabeth McIntyre wrote in a January column.

Crain’s also publishes a daily e-newsletter at 8:30 a.m. each weekday.

Cleveland.com last month launched its free Rubber City Daily, which has attracted thousands of subscribers. The email delivers the top 10 news stories in Akron at 5:30 a.m. Monday-Friday.
