ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — After a day of thunderstorms and snow melt, Rocky River experienced some intense flooding.

On Feb. 7, storms were so strong in the area that the National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties. Although Northeast Ohio only received one to two inches of rain, the melting of the snow caused significant flooding around rivers and lakes.
