The officer asked a tattooed passenger, who wasn’t wearing his seatbelt, for his license, but the man said he didn’t have it and he forgot his social security number.

He gave the officer a name and birthdate; however, the pictures didn’t match. The man denied giving the officer the wrong information, even though the photo revealed a shorter man without tattoos. It turned out the passenger had a warrant from the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.

He was arrested and held for transport. Before searching the car, the driver told police he had a gun and marijuana in the center console. He was arrested; however, because the driver was honest about the firearm, helped identifying the passenger and lacked a criminal history, the officer cited him for improper handling of a firearm inside of a motor vehicle.

He was also charged for drug abuse and improperly displaying a front license plate.
