Boulder is expected to get more freezing rain and snow today as icy conditions continue across the Front Range.

Today’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high of 38 and freezing drizzle and snow. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. The overnight low is expected to be near 21.

St. Vrain Valley schools and the Dawson School in Lafayette are both on delayed starts due to the icy conditions. The Boulder Valley School District has not announced any closures or delayed starts, while the University of Colorado has said it will operate on a normal schedule.Advertisement

Boulder, Longmont and Broomfield are currently on accident alert after the icy conditions led to numerous crashes Wednesday.

Friday’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high of 40 and an overnight low of 32, with a 10 percent chance of snow after midnight.

Saturday’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 58 and a 10 percent chance of snow before noon. The overnight low is expected to be near 33.
