RUSSELL TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Car Crash, County Line Road: A man told police his vehicle was run off the road and into a ditch before 10 a.m. Jan. 29 by a plow truck that went left of the center center of the road north of Ledgebrook Lane. The man called his insurance company and a towing company. There was no visible damage to his car.

Fraud, Riddle Road: Someone made fraudulent charges on a woman’s debit card sometime before Jan. 24 when she filed a police report.

Animal at Large, Cloveridge Road: A woman complained on 9:30 a.m. Jan. 30 that her neighbor’s dog repeatedly runs up to pedestrians on the street. She asked that police speak to the dog owner. The owner said he will keep the dog away from the road.

Disabled Vehicle, Kinsman Road: An officer on patrol found a private snowplow truck stuck in the ditch 5:39 a.m. Jan. 30. He called tow truck to remove it.

Utilities, West River Drive: A resident reported the outage of cable, phone and internet service 9:47 a.m. Jan. 26. A few minutes later, a motorist saw wires down and arcing on Chillicothe Road. Kinsman Road 1/26/2017

Special Attention, Fox Den East: Two vehicles were spotted racing on the road 2:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at a high rate of speed. One passed the other and was described as a silver-colored SUV. The resident requested extra patrols on the street.

Traffic Hazard, Retriever Run: A driver encountered a fallen tree on the road shortly before 9 a.m. Jan. 25. An officer arrived on the scene and requested a road crew to remove it.
