A man believed to be in his 20s was fatally shot in Markham early Thursday morning, said York Regional Police.
Emergency crews were notified just before 1 a.m. about a shooting on Hillwood St., near Bur Oak Ave. and McCowan Rd. in Markham.
The victim was rushed to a local trauma centre where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, but have not shared further details.
