The average daily number of infections has increased by 4 % during the last seven days, according to data published on the website of the Institute of public health Sciensano. The other indicators continue to decline.
As for the past few days, the average number of new infections has increased. From 1 July to 7 July, the most recent period for which there are consolidated figures, there has been on average 84,3 infections per day, or 4 % more than during the previous period of seven days.
