Meet the spunky NYPD traffic agent who blows kisses at friendly drivers who pass her post in Lower Manhattan.

Traffic Enforcement Agent Guadalupe Rubino directs traffic at Pearl Street and Avenue of the Finest, close to the Brooklyn Bridge and 1 Police Plaza.

“It’s like conducting an orchestra,” Rubino said. “If it isn’t too busy, then I feel bored. I feel like there’s no music.

Rubino grew up in Canarsie, Brooklyn, and was inspired by a local crossing guard to become one herself — her first post at the NYPD.

As a traffic agent, Rubino says it means a lot to her to help people get home safely.

“One day, I was having a hard day and I asked this person, ‘Please stop,’” Rubino said. “And when he did, I threw him a kiss. That’s how that started. [It’s] a way of saying thanks as well.”
