SAN ANTONIO — Police and emergency personnel responded to a major accident Thursday morning on Interstate 35 near St. Mary’s Street, blocking off at least one lane of traffic, according to traffic cameras.
At least one unit responded to the crash at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday on I-35 North Southbound near Brooklyn Avenue and St. Mary’s Street, according to the City of San Antonio’s active calls tool.
Traffic cameras with the Texas Department of Transportation show cars are backed up in that area, with at least one lane being blocked as a result of the wreck.
Lanes were re-opened at about 9:15 a.m.
