Dancers twerked at Studio 206 in SoDo for a chance at a $500 cash prize, gift cards to the dance studio and twerking gear. A dozen twerkers battled in the 2017 Boss Chick Battle of Seattle Twerk Contest through various rounds in front of a panel of three judges.
Tickets sold out quickly to Studio 206’s 2017 Boss Chick Battle of Seattle Twerk Contest on Saturday night. A dozen dancers competed through several rounds for a chance at a trophy, cash prizes, and gift cards to the old Rainier brewery dance studio. A small crowd filled the room, cheering, hooting and hollering as performers twerked in various styles for the three judges. Michelle Thomas took away the win after a near tie with the final three.
