According to Lt. Allan Baron, a spokesman for the Texas A&M University Police Department, Turner assaulted a woman with a pitchfork around 12:45 p.m. at an on-campus facility in the 500 block of College Avenue.
Baron could offer few details about the events leading up to Turner’s arrest, but a report from the Bryan Eagle says Turner, an employee for a Texas A&M contractor, first punched the woman in the eye after she tried to break up a fight between himself and another man over some pitchforks.

Turner told police the woman was reaching for a knife after he punched her, so he grabbed a pitchfork and hit her with it in the back, shoulders and buttocks. Then he threw it at her, hitting her legs, according to the Eagle.
He was arrested at the scene and taken to jail.
