Drake opened up about his infamous feud with Meek Mill during a recent interview with DJ Semtex on Beats 1’s OVO Sound Radio, saying that he wasn’t happy with the nearly two-yearlong beef. The Canadian rapper also commented on Kanye West’s mid-show rants against him.

“It’s not something that I’m proud of because it took just as much of an emotional toll on me — maybe not as much as it did on him… but you always gotta hear about it,” Drake said about feuding with Mill. “Just seeing people get so riled up on negativity, it didn’t feel great.”

The feud between Drake and Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend began in 2015 after Mill suggested that the “Hotline Bling” rapper does not write his own lyrics and instead uses a ghostwriter.

Following this, the two rappers continuously slammed each other with diss tracks. One of the diss tracks for Mill, called “Back to Back,” was nominated for the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Meanwhile, Drake also talked about the time when West called out to him suggesting that the 30-year-old and DJ Khaled are overplayed on the radio when other artists like Frank Ocean also deserve air time.

“I’m not really sure what he’s referring to half the time because, in the same breath, I went from working on a project with him to him sort of, like, publicly s—— on me and DJ Khaled for being on the radio too much,” Drake said.

“If that’s what it is, I don’t even really understand the point you’re trying to make, but whatever it is that you’re going through, I accept it. I don’t respect it at all,” he continued. “Me and Khaled are both just, like, good people. I’m not really sure why we’re the target of your choice that you made that night. But again, I accept what you’re going through.”

Not only did Drake speak about the feuds, he also took a hit at his Grammy wins saying he doesn’t understand why he won the Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Performance for “Hotline Bling” since it isn’t a rap track.

“Even though ‘Hotline Bling’ is not a rap song, the only category they can manage to fit me in is a rap category,” he said. “Maybe because I’ve rapped in the past or because I’m black, I can’t figure out why. I won two awards but I don’t even want them, because it just feels weird for some reason.”
