Defensive end Stacy Kirby Orlando Jones High committed to his dream school during a Saturday Junior Day visit to FSU.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that," Kirby said of the Seminoles all along being his favorites. " A lot of schools showed interest but no one ever talk to them."
Kirby, who picked FSU over Florida and Ohio state, said he didn’t necessarily plan to commit this weekend but once he got on campus he said the feeling was just right.
"It feels great and I’m really excited," Kirby said. "It was just an impromptu thing. After being at FSU on campus all day I felt like the time was right.
"The people, the facilities, just the whole campus itself … it all really impressed me today."
Kirby, who had 65 tackles, four sacks and 11 tackles for loss last season, the news to FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher.
