CLIFTON – A 56-year-old gas station attendant was hit Thursday by a fleeing motorist who didn’t pay his $25 gas tab, according to News12.
Antilla Tas told the TV station he tried to stop the thief from driving away from the Shell Station on Route 3 when suddenly the man hit him with his silver car. The incident was caught on surveillance camera.
Tas was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to the report.
No arrests were made and police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
