Fresh off their performance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, Metallica revealed Monday that they’re playing the Rogers Centre this summer, and you can safely bet that this time, singer James Hetfield’s microphone will work.

The heavy-metal institution’s on their track “Moth to a Flame” live collaboration (on their track “Moth to a Flame”) with Lady Gaga probably had a mic technician looking for a new line of work on Monday, but the band has months to iron out these kinks before their July 16 date at the ballpark, with Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat opening. Tickets ($55-$183) go on sale Friday, Feb. 17 via Ticketmaster and Livenation.com, with fan clubs getting to jump the queue and buy earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, Hetfield’s duet partner Lady Gaga has added a second Air Canada Centre show to her current tour. The previously announced Sept. 6 date has sold out and now there’s a show the next night; tickets go on sale Feb. 21, but the prices are a mystery for now.

Also, Canadian rock bands Arkells and July Talk co-headline the Budweiser Stage on June 24; tickets ($21-$76) as per Metallica, above.
