If you believe the rumors, it’s no secret that Bella Hadid is less than thrilled about her ex-boyfriend The Weeknd moving on and dating Selena Gomez so quickly following their November split. Could the model be seeking revenge against her former beau?
On Thursday night, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz posted a photo of himself and Hadid to Instagram. The two were visiting the Nike Lab pop-up shop and got close together to pose for the picture.
While there is no evidence that the two are romantically linked, it is known that Hadid is “actually not over The Weeknd. She still loves him,” according to a E! News source.
“They are on fine terms, but she is bitter about the romance with Selena,” the insider said. The model could have taken the picture to spite her ex-boyfriend or she could have simply been asked to pose with the athlete.
Although Cruz seems to still be with his fiancée Elaina Watley, who he shares a child with, the athlete is rumored to have a wandering eye. On Oct. 6, a screenshot of a text message was obtained in which Watley sent a group text that included Cruz’s alleged mistresses, Us Weekly reported.
“Hello ladies, this is elaina Victor Cruz’s fiancée,” the message stated. “You all know about me and I seem to be the topic of conversations with Vic. I’m sure he’s told you many of things about us and how we don’t exist but given the fact that you all meet him in hotel rooms only, we all know that’s a lie, just as he tells me you all are whores and mean nothing to him,” Watley allegedly wrote.
Watley reportedly went on to encourage the women to share notes and stories with each other since they have all been with the same man. Following the release of the text message, neither Watley nor Cruz confirmed or denied its authenticity.
