When young British woman Alice Webster (Abigail Hardingham), stumbles into her hometown and collapses, her return sends shockwaves through the community of Eckhausen, Germany. She has been missing for 11 years, and possibly has knowledge of another missing young girl. The second season of the anthology series The Missing follows three timelines – the day Alice disappeared, the days following her return and years later where we see her family torn apart. The Missing explores the measures taken to find a missing child, but also the heartbreaking ways their return affects their families and communities. The second installment is a different story from the disappearance of Oliver Hughes in Season 1, but features the return of retired detective Julien Baptiste (Tchéky Karyo). Also stars The Walking Dead’s David Morrissey. 8 p.m. Sunday, Starz

Preparing for war: The Walking Dead
Last time we saw Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his people, they were reeling from defeat and gruesome bloodshed at the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors. The first half of The Walking Dead’s seventh season saw gratuitous violence and two beloved characters with their heads bashed in. Fans weren’t happy, and the ratings reflected it. Finally, at the end of the eighth episode, Rick and company decided enough was enough. They didn’t want to live under Negan’s sadistic thumb any longer. The midseason premiere picks up with the Alexandria group attempting to convince the leaders of the Hilltop and the Kingdom to join in the fight against Negan. That’s easier said than done when one is a spineless pushover and the other encourages peace with a tiger as his bodyguard. 9 p.m. Sunday, AMC
Make Parisian fashion great again: The Collection
A tight-knit family – with loads of issues – is determined to rebuild their fashion empire in post-World War II Paris. At the center are the two Sabine brothers. Paul (Richard Coyle) makes a deal to revitalize the fashion house after the Nazi occupation ceased. His brother, Claude (Tom Riley), is the real creative force but remains behind the scenes because he’s a hot mess. Yvette (Frances de la Tour) is the manipulative, resilient Sabine matriarch in luscious Cruella furs. The multiple storylines of The Collection quickly take off with 1940s class struggle, scandal and haute couture. It’s heavy on the frantic plotlines, but period drama buffs will be smitten at the first glimpse of Nina’s (Jenna Thiam) red dress. Midnight Friday, Amazon

End of a dynasty: Reign
The historical fantasy series following a young Mary, Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane) above, is back for a fourth and final season. Reign is highly fictionalized, but traces real events like her marriage to and the death of King Francis II (Toby Regbo), religious conflicts between Catholics and Protestants and the rocky relationship with Queen Elizabeth I of England (Rachel Skarsten). The cancellation news came just as the series was starting to film the fourth season, and fans are hoping for a solid end to the period drama. The fourth season is 16 episodes, so the finale is expected in June. 9 p.m. Friday, CW
