Most Sussex County school districts have announced they’ll have delayed openings on Friday, February 10, 2017 due to the lingering snow from the first major snowstorm in the Garden State since early January.
The following schools have announced delayed openings as of 7:50 p.m. Thursday:
- Andover Borough, two-hour delay
- Andover Township, two-hour delay
- Byram, two-hour delay
- Frankford, 90-minute delay
- Fredon, two-hour delay
- Green Township, two-hour delay
- Hamburg, two-hour delay
- Hardyston, 90-minute delay
- High Point Regional High School, 90-minute delay
- Hopatcong, 90-minute delay
- Kittatinny Regional High School, one hour and 45 minute delay
- Lenape Valley Regional High School, two-hour delay
- Montague Township, two-hour delay
- Newton, two-hour delay
- Ogdensburg, delayed opening
- Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School District, two-hour delay
- Sparta, 90-minute delay
- Stanhope, two-hour delay
- Sussex County Technical School, one hour and 45 minute delay
- Sussex-Wantage Regional School District, 90-minute delay
- Wallkill Valley Regional High School, two-hour delay
