A landslide is blocking two lanes of westbound traffic on U.S. 26 west of downtown Portland.
The right and center-right lanes were initially blocked by debris a mile west of the Vista Ridge Tunnel, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation. The agency said it doesn’t have an estimate for when the lanes will reopen.
Workers are on scene. The state transportation department urges travelers to find a route that steers clear of the landslide.
