Eric LeGrand has former Rutgers teammates on both sides of Super Bowl LI, but he just got another reason to root for a big game from Mohamed Sanu.
The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver announced on Twitter that MeUndies — maker of underwear and loungewear for men and women — will donate $1,000 for every touchdown that he scores in the game as well as $500 for every one of his receptions to Team LeGrand of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

Sanu is wrapping up the best season of his five-year NFL career as he made 59 receptions for 653 yards and four touchdowns. He has added nine catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns in two playoff games.
The South Brunswick High School product might need a big game from Sanu in order to beat the New England Patriots. All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones figures to draw most of the attention from the defense.

Of course, the New England Patriots secondary is full of LeGrand’s friends, too.
Sanu and his former Rutgers roommate, New England Patriots cornerback Logan Ryan, could be matched up in pass coverage. Duron Harmon and Devin McCourty are safeties, coached by former Rutgers long snapper-turned Patriots safeties coach Steve Belichick.
CBS This Morning aired a segment with LeGrand on Saturday talking about his former teammates.
As you’ve probably heard 1,000 times by now, Rutgers has more alums in the Super Bowl than any other college.
