According to the survey conducted by the Order of Chartered Human Resources Advisors (CRHA), approximately 60% of respondents say that their organization has not integrated artificial intelligence into their daily lives, do not plan to do so or the solution does not apply at all.
This result is explained by a lack of financial resources for 47% of respondents, insufficient knowledge of new technologies related to AI for 37% of respondents, and a lack of time for 19%.
Some 39% of respondents bluntly admitted that the subject of using AI has never been discussed within the organization.
The survey results also show that the use of AI can optimize processes (84%), increase productivity (62%) and eliminate repetitive tasks (57%), while nearly half of respondents (46%) believe that their organization should invest in recruitment in the future.
“The gap between what is experienced in the field and the immense potential of Quebec in AI is surprising,” said Manon Poirier, CHRP, director general of the Ordre des CHRP, in a press release.
“With one of the highest concentrations of researchers in the world, a multitude of centers of excellence, startups and incubators, as well as government support through public funds, Quebec is a world-renowned hub for intelligence. artificial,” she added.
