Capital Region residents should expect a cold and windy Friday, followed by light snowfall this evening, the National Weather Service reports.

In the wake of Thursday’s nor’easter, temperatures will be lower teens with a 10 to 20 mph winds making it feel below zero all day, the weather service reports.

An Alberta clipper will bring light snowfall to the area tonight into early Saturday.

Another nor’easter will approach for Sunday into Monday with the potential for significant wintry precipitation, the NWS reports. The storm will start out as rain but rapidly strengthen as it hits the New England area, possibly bringing heavy to moderate snowfall to the Capital Region, the NWS reports.

Here’s the full forecast:

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 24. Wind chill values as low as -10. Northwest wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Tonight: Light snow, mainly before 5 a.m. Low around 19. South wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Saturday: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. South wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Saturday Night: A slight chance of snow showers before 7 p.m., then a chance of snow after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. West wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Sunday: Snow likely before 1 p.m., then rain and snow. High near 36. East wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday Night: Snow. Low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Monday: A chance of snow showers before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 36.

Tuesday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

Wednesday: A chance of light snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 32.
